The idea for Glamping on our farm Stihøj was born when I returned home from one of my many trips to Tanzania in 2020.

 

I was a big fan of these bright canvas tents that I had spotted when I visited Burigi National Park.They stood there far from all civilization and yet they were furnished stately, with beds, duvets, pillows and all the necessities for a comfortable stay.

I could just imagine these canvas tents standing in the garden with the beautiful vaste view of Stege Nor - out to the open fields and the big sky!

It took 3 years before the idea became a reality. My wish for the tents to be brought home from Tanzania was not fulfilled but luckily I found similair tents in Djursland at Wulff Nature.

That is why the tents today have been named after the National Parks in Tanzania: Burigi and Sadaani

​​

About Our Tents

Our Tents measuresures each 24m2  and 19m2, lies with an open view to the fields and Stege Nor. The tents are placed on one large green area with lots of space. Here, you can enjoy both the sunrise over the forest to the east and Dark Sky in the night when the sky is clear.

Here you can come and enjoy the peace and quietness together. Get the tempo down and soften your shoulders. Enjoy the freedom and peace on a small mini-holiday close to nature.

In our tents

• 2 gode beds, functions as both a double bed and 2 single beds, as desired.

• Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels

• Picnic basket with various service  

• Access to small toilet and bath
